China

Why is every product I drink, eat, wear, drive, and look at made in China? I feel like i will soon be defecating Chinese products; even the pen I use to take notes is made in Japan ( I know not China), why cant something simple as a pen be made in the United States? Sometimes I wish I was born in the 1950's, when America was a net-exporter and not a net-importer.
